Helping New Jersey Students Start School Ready to Learn
Project Readiness equips underserved children across New Jersey with the school supplies and support they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
Welcome to Project Readiness!
Every child deserves the tools to succeed
For many families, the rising cost of school supplies creates a real barrier at the start of each school year. When students begin without the basic items they need, it can affect confidence, participation, and academic success from day one.
Project Readiness NJ works to close that gap by providing children with backpacks and grade-appropriate school supplies, helping students arrive prepared and helping families feel supported.

Project Readiness NJ gathers, packs, and prepares grade-appropriate materials for students in need.
Step 3:
Students receive what they need
Backpacks and supplies are distributed through trusted local partners, helping children begin the year equipped for success.
There are many ways to make a difference
